1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to the SnipGrid mobile game, published on the App Store as “SnipGrid: Cut Block Puzzle” (the “App”). Saittai is the App’s operator and determines why information is processed for the App. This policy does not replace the privacy notices of Apple, Google, Firebase, Meta, GameAnalytics, RevenueCat, or other services you may access independently.
The App is a general-audience game. It has no accounts and no login, and it does not ask for your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone, or for permission to send notifications.
3. Advertising, consent, and ATT
The App uses Google AdMob to show interstitial ads between some levels and optional rewarded ads. A rewarded ad is shown only after you choose an in-game offer to watch one in exchange for a described benefit. A one-time Remove Ads purchase stops the interstitial ads. AdMob may process device, advertising, network, consent, and ad-interaction information to deliver, secure, limit, and measure ads.
Where required, the App uses Google’s consent tools to ask about personalized advertising and related data use. When that control is offered for your region, you can revisit your choices at any time through Privacy options in the App’s Settings.
On Apple devices, the App may also display Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before seeking access to the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or engaging in tracking as Apple defines it. The game plays exactly the same whether you allow or deny that request, and you can change the permission later in your device settings. Denying ATT does not remove ads; ads may still be delivered with less personalization or using information that does not require ATT permission.
The App also supports Apple’s SKAdNetwork, which lets advertisers measure whether an ad campaign led to installs without receiving information that identifies you or your device.
The App also includes Meta’s App Events SDK, which lets Saittai tell whether its ads on Facebook and Instagram led to an install. It runs only on copies downloaded from the App Store, only after the consent step described above has finished, and only while “Share anonymous analytics” is on in the App’s Settings; turning that setting off stops it straight away. While it runs, Meta receives the install, each app open, and App Store in-app purchases (product and price), together with a random identifier the SDK creates and device information such as the device model, operating system version, language, and IP address. Meta receives your device’s IDFA only if you allowed tracking when iOS asked. Saittai does not send Meta your gameplay, your name, or your email address.

4. Analytics and diagnostics
The App uses Firebase Analytics to measure gameplay events such as levels started and finished, cuts, hints, coins earned and spent, shop visits, ads shown, and settings changes. These measurements help Saittai understand whether the App works as intended, how difficult its levels are, and where it can be improved.
Gameplay analytics is on by default, and you can switch it off: open Settings in the App and turn off Share anonymous analytics. Turning it off stops collection immediately and discards any events the App was still holding. Analytics does not start until Google’s consent step described in section 3 has finished.
The Firebase events Saittai defines contain gameplay values only—level number and size, outcomes, prices, coin amounts, product identifiers, ad format and estimated ad revenue—together with the time, the app version and build, and a random session identifier that is created anew each time the App starts. They do not contain your name, email address, advertising identifier, location, or the contents of your puzzle board. Firebase may associate events with its own app-instance identifier, Apple’s identifier for vendors (IDFV), and technical information such as device model, operating system, language, and approximate region.
The App also uses GameAnalytics to understand sessions, level progress and failures, time spent playing, tutorial completion, virtual coins earned and spent, successful new payments, and ad interactions and revenue. Payment analytics includes the product, amount, and currency; restored or recovered purchases are not reported as new payments. GameAnalytics processes a random identifier created by its SDK and technical device and request information. Saittai disables its advertising-ID collection and automatic error and health reporting. The App sends limited error reports containing only the type of error and the part of the App where it occurred. Saittai does not send GameAnalytics your name, email address, puzzle layouts, purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, or the App’s own session and attempt identifiers.
GameAnalytics runs only on eligible App Store installations, after the consent check has finished and while Share anonymous analytics is on. It stays off in development and TestFlight builds. Turning off analytics or refusing applicable consent stops collection immediately; events generated while collection is prohibited are not saved for later submission. Turning analytics off does not delete information already received by the provider. Learn more in the GameAnalytics Privacy Policy.
The App also uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash and fatal-error reports. Reports can include diagnostic information such as stack traces, device and operating-system details, app version, app state near the failure, and identifiers used to group and investigate crashes. Crash reporting is separate from gameplay analytics: the Share anonymous analytics setting does not turn it off. Pre-release test builds distributed through TestFlight do not send gameplay analytics, but they do send crash reports.

5. Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment method and billing details under its own terms and privacy policy. Saittai does not receive your full payment-card number. The App sells one-time purchases only—coin packs, a starter pack, and Remove Ads—and has no subscriptions.
The App uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, deliver what you bought, recover purchases that were interrupted, and restore permanent purchases. The App creates a random customer ID for this purpose and stores it in your save file. RevenueCat associates that ID with your purchase history, product and transaction identifiers, and entitlement status. The App does not give RevenueCat your name, contact details, Game Center ID, advertising identifier, or a hardware identifier, and it switches off RevenueCat’s automatic device-identifier collection.
Purchase processing is needed for purchases and for Restore Purchases to work, so the Share anonymous analytics setting does not turn it off.
Learn more in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and the Apple Privacy Policy.
6. Game Center
Game Center is optional. If you sign in when the App offers it, the App reports scores to its leaderboards and progress toward its achievements to Apple, which shows them under your Game Center profile according to your Game Center settings. The App does not read other players’ scores or your Game Center friends, and it does not store your Game Center identity in its save file or send it to Saittai’s other service providers.
You can sign out of Game Center or change what your profile shares in your device’s Settings. Apple processes Game Center information under the Apple Privacy Policy.
7. Service providers and sharing
Saittai shares information only as needed for the purposes described in this policy: with Google for AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics; with Meta for measuring its ads; with GameAnalytics for gameplay, purchase, and ad-revenue analytics and limited error reporting; with RevenueCat for purchase validation and entitlements; with Apple for App Store distribution, payment processing, and Game Center; and with professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent harm, or complete a business transfer.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Saittai does not sell your personal information for money. Advertising providers may use information for personalized advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising where permitted by law and by your consent and device choices.
8. Retention
Your save file and the local diagnostic log stay on your device until you delete the App. Because Saittai keeps no copy, game progress cannot be recovered after the App is deleted; permanent purchases can be brought back with Restore Purchases.
Information held by service providers is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including operating the App, maintaining purchase records and entitlements, analyzing aggregate trends, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and provider. Information may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated when it is no longer needed, unless a longer period is required by law. Deleting the App does not by itself delete purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat.
9. Security
Saittai uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. International processing
Saittai and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from local laws. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of personal information, or to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal a response or complain to a data-protection authority. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.
- Turn off Share anonymous analytics in the App’s Settings to stop gameplay analytics.
- Use Privacy options in the App’s Settings, when available, to review advertising choices.
- Use your device settings to review or change ATT permission, advertising controls, and Game Center.
- Use App Store tools to manage purchases, refunds, or payment details.
- Contact Saittai to make a privacy request or ask a question about this policy.
Because the App has no accounts, include relevant details with your request—such as the device platform and any purchase-related identifier you can access—without sending passwords or full payment-card information. Saittai may direct you to Apple, Google, Firebase, Meta, GameAnalytics, or RevenueCat when that provider controls the requested information.
12. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and Saittai does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact Saittai so the situation can be investigated and appropriate action taken. A higher minimum age may apply where required by local law.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the App, service providers, or legal requirements. The revised policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how information is processed, additional notice will be provided when required by law.
